What is stored locally?

The university fit finder may use browser session storage to remember which challenge you selected while the tab remains open. Session storage is not a cookie, remains on your device and is not transmitted to StudyfinderAI by the application. Your analytics choice itself is saved in browser local storage so the banner does not ask again; that storage is strictly necessary to remember the choice and does not itself require consent. The contact forms send your message directly to StudyfinderAI through a server-side function that relays it by email; nothing you type is stored by this website.

How page speed is measured

The site uses Vercel Speed Insights to check that pages load quickly. It sets no cookie and stores nothing on your device. Each page view reports the route and URL, an approximate connection speed, browser, device type, operating system, your country as a two-letter code, and the resulting timings. According to the provider, these readings are not linked to you or to your IP address and cannot be joined up to follow you from page to page, so there is nothing to switch off and nothing that recognises you on a later visit. How page-view analytics works, if you allow it

If you accept, the site uses Vercel Web Analytics to see which pages get visited and where visitors come from. It sets no cookie either, but it identifies your browser with a hash built from your request, which the provider discards after 24 hours, so your page views within that window can be linked together. Each page view reports the URL, referring page, your country, region and city, and your browser, device type and operating system. According to the provider, this is never linked to your name and cannot be used to follow you on other websites. Hosting infrastructure

The hosting provider processes normal web requests to deliver and protect the site. If a future hosting configuration introduces a strictly necessary technical cookie, this policy will list its name, purpose and duration.

If the stack changes further

Advertising, embedded media or scheduling tools will not be enabled before their data flow is documented and any required prior consent mechanism is added. Rejecting non-essential measurement must remain as easy as accepting it.
